This car is a lot of fun on the track! It has no magnets and a lot of torque. Front and rear bonnets haven't been secured & the small bits havent been glued on yet.

This 1935 Auto Union Type A Streamliner is a kit made by Shadowfax in France. The chassis is made on a 3D printer.
1938 Adler Trumpf Rennlimousine - This was a 4 cylinder FWD streamliner designed by Paul Jaray.
This is a resin casting made by Chris in Missouri. It's mounted on a PP chassis. It's been handled a bit & the clear coat didn't hold up well.

This was a resin casting of the Ninco Porsche 356. I narrowed the body 3MM by sawing it in 1/2 and used milliput to fill in the seams. It's mounted on a PP clubman chassis. This car hasnt been test run yet. I plan on installing lights behind the clear headlight lenses (Plastic pieces I sourced from my parts bin).

This is a Porsche 550 Coupe resin body kit made in Spain. It's mounted on a plastic adjustable chassis. It's only been out for a test lap & has some body rubbing issues.
You can see my Limited Edition James Dean Porsche in the background. I picked it up at a convention in Parsippany.

My daughter and I built these 2 beetles using 1/32 Arii model kits. They've only been on the track for a few parade laps. The blue car is mounted on a PCS Chassis. It's very tippy and is one of our slowest cars.
The Split window is painted Panzer Grey. It's mounted to a PP Clubman Chassis with silicone wires, Slot.It gears and axles. Its a low power motor (15,000 rpm?). It runs great on our home track with some weight added over the front axle & guide.

This is a BMW Isetta 1/32 resin kit made by Lagartija.
I built this about 3 years ago. It runs great with a low power motor and no magnets. It's a crowd pleaser too. Everyone loves watching this thing slide through turns. It's actually well balanced & not too tippy.
This car makes a mini look roomy!

Fester,
These cars are great ! I think there's room for cars like this at our club events and I don't see why others haven't thought of displaying them. There are several guys who collect the 1/32 cars and I myself have brought slot cars in on occasion, though mine are 1/24. Maybe it's time to have a "slot car night" in conjunction with one of the other theme meetings ?
Thanks for posting the pics, they're VERY inspirational!!!
