I thought the show would be a little bigger, but it was still a lot of fun even though it was a bit of a hike for me and the Mrs. The idea of having a model car show at a car museum really worked out, and they had fairly good turn out. Anyway, I am thinking it might also work out at one of the big car shows or maybe the Vintage Auto Museum at Point Pleasant where the displays could be inside a building. Some possibilities are Dead Man's Curve, Lead East or possibly some of the car shows down in Atlantic City where you have a hotel and some inside space to display the models. The great thing about combining a model car show with a car museum or a real car show is that you already have the draw and you don't have to promote it as much. One other benefit is the possibility that combined events like the Philly NNL may even promote the hobby and possibly get some other people interested in building or even provide a boost to attendance of the existing model car shows that are held annually.
